Description

Pope's Cottages, located on Church Street in Hartfield, are 17th century timber-framed cottages with plaster infilling set on a stone base. The ground floor has been refaced in red brick with grey headers. The first floor of the west cottage features tile-hanging, while the east cottage has a jettied first floor with exposed timbering. The cottages have a tiled roof and casement windows, and they stand two storeys tall with a total of three windows.
