Description
Needles Cottage is a 16th century cottage built against the old town wall, which forms part of its northern wall. The building has two storeys and features two windows. The ground floor is made of painted stone rubble, while the upper floor is covered in painted weatherboarding that conceals the original timber framing. The east front has two 18th century sash windows with original glazing bars on the upper floor, and the lower floor has two later shop windows. The doorway features a small flat hood, and the cottage has a tiled roof with a central chimney.
