  1. Cl6 cottage built against the old town wall which forms part of the northern wall of the cottage. 2 storeys, 2 windows. Ground floor of painted stone rubble. Top floor now of painted weatherboarding covering the original timber framing. East front has 2 C18 sash windows with original glazing bars on the upper floor. The lower floor has 2 later shop windows. Doorway has a small flat hood. Tiled roof with central chimney.
