Oast house. late C17 or early C18 farm building converted c1840 to stowge range of oast house with a pair of cylindrical kilns added at south east end. Oast house subsequently enlarged with a later pair of cylindrical kilns; a kiln to either side of extended stowage range. Wing on north east side extended in later C19. Earlier range: Timber frame with weatherboard cladding; tiled roof half hipped at north west end. C19 wing of brick with gabled corrugated asbestos roof. Two storeys. Brick kilns with three course corbelled brick eaves cornices; the earlier pair have tiled cones and vent caps with metal ball finials, the later pair have rendered brick cones and tiled vent caps with similar finials. Boarded to upper floor of stowage range under boarded galets; one to either side behind the earlier pair of kilns approached by flights of steps. Boarded stable doors to kilns. Irregular fenestration with glazing bars. Internally the stowage range has three raised cruck trusses in the earlier part. King post trusses in C19 wing. Group value with Bosney Farm House (q.v.)
