Description

This is a pair of 19th-century houses at numbers 4 and 5, and another pair at numbers 6 and 7, on East Street. Numbers 4 and 5 were built later than numbers 6 and 7, with all four dating from the first half of the 19th century. They have tiled roofs. Numbers 4 and 5 are constructed of red brick, while numbers 6 and 7 are stucco-faced. Number 6 has a 19th-century shop window with small, square panes of glass. Number 7 features a bay window on the ground floor. The upper storeys of numbers 6 and 7 each contain one bay window, while numbers 4 and 5 each have one sash window per storey. Numbers 1 to 7, together with the Union Inn and number 9, are grouped with numbers 104 and 104A on High Street.
