Description

Norman House is a late 18th or early 19th century house situated on the north-east side of West Street. It is a two-storey building with three windows, constructed of painted brick and topped with a parapet. The doorway is set within a round-headed recessed brick arch, which is finished with a semi-circular fanlight above. Flanking the door are narrow strip windows, bordered by thin pilasters. The front door itself is a six-panel moulded door. Norman House is part of a group that includes numbers 1 and 2, The Tower House, Lamb House, numbers 13 to 17 (consecutive), and number 1 Mermaid Street.
