Description

The gazebo in the garden of the Tower House is an 18th-century structure made of brick, designed in the form of a tower. It stands three storeys tall above an attached garden wall and has a width of two bays, featuring a full-height brick buttress. The gazebo includes sash windows with exposed frames, cambered head linings, and glazing bars. It is noted that local notaries watched the arrival of the first railway train in Rye from the top of this gazebo.
