Description

Greensills is a house likely dating from the early 19th century, located on the north side of Church Square. It is constructed of painted brick with unpainted brick dressings and features a tiled roof. The east front has a gabled design. Both the east and south fronts are adorned with wide brick pilasters and a semi-circular recessed panel above the space between them. The south front includes a large modern window, which was formerly a shop window, featuring small square panes and a semi-circular window above it. The east front has a doorway topped with a semi-circular fanlight and a semi-circular window in the gable on the second floor. Greensills is part of a group that includes Nos 48 to 64 (even).
