Description

West Point is a pair of late 18th century or early 19th century houses located at 5 and 6 West Street. They are two storeys high and feature five windows in total facing south. Number 5 is situated at a corner and has a wall facing west, which does not have any windows, but there is a later ground floor extension at the back that includes one window. The houses are constructed of yellow brick and have a parapet. They each have a pair of round-headed doorways set in recessed brick arches, complete with semi-circular fanlights. Number 5 retains its original six-panel moulded door. Numbers 5 to 9 are part of a group.
