Description

Knowle House, located at 32 Mermaid Street, is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features three windows. The exterior is made of painted brick with a tiled roof. On the ground floor, there are projecting square bay windows on either side of the door, each topped with a cornice. The glazing bars are intact. The west wall is constructed of painted stone rubble at the ground level, with weatherboarding above, culminating in a gable. Knowle House is part of a group of listed buildings along Mermaid Street.
