No. 2 Hylands Yard is a late 16th century or 17th century timber-framed cottage that stands two storeys high and features one window. The cottage has a doorway with a flat hood and a slate roof. It includes sash windows, with the ground floor window having a segmental arch. The exterior is finished with cobbles. No. 2 and No. 7 form a group.
