Description
Nos 1 and 2 (Clovelly) is a 17th century timber-framed building located on School Hill in Burwash. The north west wall features exposed timbering with plaster infilling, while the front has been refronted with tile-hanging, and the ground floor of the north east front is stuccoed. The building has a half-hipped tiled roof and contains two casement windows along with five sash windows that still have their glazing bars intact. Number 2 includes a doorway with a flat hood supported by brackets and a door made of six fielded panels set within a moulded architrave surround. The building stands two storeys high and has a total of four windows.
