Description

Burghurst is a 15th-century timber-framed building that was refaced in the 18th century. The ground floor is faced with red brick and grey brick headers, while the first floor is tile-hung, with a slight bellcast. A trace of a moulded bressummer is visible. The building has a wooden eaves cornice and a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof. Sash windows with intact glazing bars are present. Inside, a crown post remains. The building is of group value, contributing significantly to the character of the surrounding area.
