Description

The doorway to the west of Plat Cottage is a medieval stone structure featuring a pointed arch and a dripstone above. It is believed to have originally been part of a building known as Trojan's or Jew's Hall. This doorway was previously located on German Street before being moved to its current site on Back Lane in Winchelsea.
