Description

This is a former barn, dating from the early 18th century. It was later used as a joinery shop and is now residential accommodation. The building is constructed of flint with some red brick, and has a half-hipped roof that is partly tiled and partly slated. The south end and west side have been altered with openings created during enlargement.

Inside, the roof is particularly notable, featuring through purlins and clasped rafters. Extensions to the south and west are of no particular architectural interest. Originally, the barn served the Manor House located directly to the northeast.
