Description
The building at 22 and 22A High Street dates to 1811. It is constructed of red brick and stands three storeys high with a three-window front. The first and second floors feature central, smaller sash windows flanked by larger sash windows, all originally with glazing bars; one of the sash windows has been replaced with a casement. Two small mid-19th century shops are now fitted with plate glass windows. The roof is tiled and gable ended. The building forms part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, extending up to and including number 118.
