Description

16 High Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a stuccoed exterior and a tiled hipped roof. It stands three storeys tall, with the ground floor altered to accommodate a large mid-19th-century shop that has a moulded cornice above it. The first and second floors each have two windows, which are sashes set in exposed casings. The second-floor windows include glazing bars, while the first-floor windows are adorned with small iron balconies. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, extending up to and including No 118.
