Description

104A and 104B on High Street are a pair of adjoining cottages dating from the 15th or 16th century, located at the rear of No 104. The cottages feature a stuccoed timber frame, with No 104A having a painted brick ground floor. They have tiled roofs and are two storeys high with an attic, each cottage being two windows wide and fitted with modern casements. No 104A includes two gabled dormers and moulded eaves, while No 104B has one gabled dormer above the eaves. Both cottages have flat door hoods supported by shaped brackets, although the one on No 104B is modern. Additionally, No 104A has a king-post in the roof. All the listed buildings on High Street up to and including No 118 form a group.
