Description
St Clement's Rectory is a mid-18th century house located on the northwest side of High Street. The building features a stucco front, while the rear is boarded and tile hung. It has two storeys, a basement, and an attic, topped with a mansard tile roof that includes three dormers. The façade is characterized by two-storeyed splayed bay windows with sash windows on either side of a central doorway, which is open and features a pediment, a half-round fanlight, and a flush-panel door. There are steps leading up to the door, accompanied by a wrought iron balustrade. The central window on the first floor has an elliptical head. Notably, all the sashes have missing glazing bars, and there is a decorative band above the ground floor windows, showcasing good architectural details. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, extending up to and including No 118.
