Description

Croft House and Holm Oak is a large detached house dating from around 1780, now divided into flats. It features yellow mathematical tiles and a slate mansard roof behind a parapet. The building stands three storeys high with an attic and is five windows wide. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, including three five-storey canted bay windows that also have sashes with glazing bars; however, the ground floor of these bays only includes the central window, omitting the side ones. Between the two left-hand bays, there is an open pedimented doorway flanked by pilasters, topped with a semi-circular fanlight and featuring a fielded-panel door. The left-hand return, facing south, has a porch with an open pediment and fanlight supported by Tuscan columns, along with a fielded-panel door. There are later additions at the rear of the building.
