Description
East End House is a house from the early 19th century, constructed with yellow mathematical tiles on a brick base and topped with an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and features a three by two bay layout, with a set-back two by two bay part at one end. The front of the house has a central six-panel door that is positioned under a radiating semi-circular fanlight. This door is recessed within a panelled reveal and is framed by a pilastered doorcase that includes triglyphs on the pediment. On the left-hand side, there is a small sash window, while the flanking bays contain 12-pane sashes set beneath rubbed arches. The first floor also has three similar sash windows. The roof is hipped, and there are stacks located behind the ridge over the flanking bays. The set-back wing is situated at the left-hand end of the house.
