Description

50 The Croft is a building dating from around 1800. It has a rough-rendered front and tile-hung sides, topped with a slate hipped roof. The structure is three storeys high with a basement and features bands at the floor levels. The building has one window width, with a two-storey canted bay window of sashes without glazing bars on the ground and first floors, and a second-floor sash window with glazing bars. To the right, there is a tall narrow doorway with a rectangular fanlight, frieze, cornice, and a panelled door. The property also has contemporary area railings and a three-storeyed bay at the rear. Nos 48 to 54 form a group, with No 54 being of local interest only.
