Description
30 George Street is a building likely dating from the 18th or 19th century. It has a painted brick facade and stands two storeys tall with a flat roof, as the original pitched roof has been removed. The building is one window wide, featuring a first-floor sash window that does not have glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a small late 19th-century shop window topped with a cornice. At the rear, facing a passage, the building has a brick and slate-hung exterior with a gable-ended roof covered in tiles, which includes two hipped dormers, one with a sash window and the other with a modern casement.
