Description

The statue of Queen Anne, located southeast of Holmhurst St Mary's School, was created between 1711 and 1712 by the sculptor Francis Bird. This Grade II* listed statue is made of marble and depicts a standing, robed figure of Queen Anne on a large elliptical pedestal. The pedestal features fielded panel sides, pilasters, and a cornice. It stands on a large stepped plinth that is adorned with four seated figures at the base.
