Description
This is an ornamental dairy dating to around 1870, located approximately 20 metres to the north-east of numbers 2, 3, and 4 at Beauport Home Farm. The building is constructed of coursed rubble, with two apsidal ends. It has a hipped tiled roof. Two pointed arched windows are fitted with diamond-shaped iron glazing bars. A central, canted rustic porch features planks laid vertically. The interior contains two identical tiled chambers, accessible via two pointed arched doorcases. The dairy is included on the list due to its rarity as a building type.
