Description

No. 15 on Croft Road is a 2-storey building with an attic, dating from around 1710, as indicated by the date inscribed in plaster on the first floor at the center, along with the initials RCA. The exterior is finished in stucco, and it features a tiled roof with gabled ends. There is a band at floor level, and the building has two windows wide, consisting of 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. On the first floor to the right, there is a canted bay of casements. The doorway is off-center and is framed by an 18th-century architrave and a pediment that includes a "Gothick" fretwork frieze, along with a new door. The eaves are moulded, and there are two old hipped roofed dormers. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 5 to 35 (odd).
