Description

No. 174 on King Street is a house dating from 1632, as indicated by a plaque on the rear wall. The building has undergone a 20th-century renovation and is constructed of painted flint rubble with brick patching. It features a pantile roof and stands two storeys tall with two bays. The entrance door is located at the extreme left in a plain reveal. On the ground floor, there is one casement window and one sash window with glazing bars. The first floor has mullion and transom windows, and there is a box cornice. A central dormer gable with a casement window is also present, along with a crow-step gable on the south side.
