Description
129 King Street is a former building of unknown original use, now functioning as a retail warehouse. It incorporates remains from the 13th century and 15th century within a late 19th-century warehouse structure. The south wall features 13th-century random flint with Caen stone quoins, while parts of the 15th-century structure are made of knapped flint. There is also brick patching and blocked later windows. The ground floor includes a round-headed doorway from the 18th or 19th century, which has a keystone. The east wall is mostly hidden by a later addition, with only the ground floor visible. The north wall has been rendered, making it difficult to determine its date. The 19th-century work is considered of no particular interest.
