Description

No. 53 on High Street is a building dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It has two storeys and features three windows. The roof is gabled and tiled, while the front is finished in stucco. On the first floor, there are two-light casement windows with small panes. The ground floor has a small three-light window with a lintel on the left side, and a small round-headed window with a painted voussoir, although the glazing bars are missing. To the right, there is a modern shop front with a doorway that is recessed. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 43 to 53 on the odd side of the street.
