Description

The barn belonging to the Chatsworth Settlement Trustees is located in Motcombe Gardens and Compton Estate Yard. It is constructed of knapped flint and features a modern red tile roof. The barn has cambered windows with flat wood lintels and brick surrounds, along with three sets of stable doors. Originally, the barn had a thatched roof. Together with the dovecote, it was part of Motcombe Farm.
