Description

Flint Halls is a former village school dating from the 19th century. It is L-shaped in layout. The building is single-storey and constructed with alternate bands of brick and knapped flint. It has a slate roof with a red tile ridge, and a modern dormer window over the entrance. A brick eaves cornice runs along the top of the walls. The right-hand section features a porch built of brick and knapped flint, with an elaborate bargeboard to its gable. The porch has a round-arched doorway with red and grey brick detailing, mirroring the design of the quoins and slightly cambered windows. The casement windows are fitted with decorative iron bars. An annexe has a door marked 'Juniors'. The left-hand section is characterised by a large, slate-gabled window.
