Description
A pair of mid-19th century houses, later used as offices with a 20th-century extension to the rear. The houses are constructed of brick with stone quoins and dressings, and have a slate gabled roof. The front features two gables with carved bargeboards facing onto the road. The houses are three storeys high with basements, and have two large chimneys on the inner roof slopes. They have a symmetrical four-bay facade with sash windows. Bracketed mouldings feature above the first-floor windows, and there are two, three-light angular bays with slate roofs on the ground floor. Half-glazed entrance doors are located at the first and fourth bays, approached by five steps. Iron railings run along a low wall at the front and return on each side of the steps.
