Description
Remenham Court is a large house built around 1830-1840. It features painted stucco with a cornice at the parapet and a slate hipped roof behind. The building is two storeys high.
On the west front, there are two segmental bows that extend the full height, with a string course and cornice running around them. Each floor has a three-light sash window with glazing bars, with the upper windows fitted with sun-blind cascs. Flanking the upper windows are radiating and concentric bull's eye windows set in moulded architrave surrounds. The ground floor has three-light sash windows, with the central light altered to French casements, and an arched window in the centre. This area is covered by an Ionic verandah that has been glazed, supported by outer piers and central columns, all resting on an entablature. There is a one-bay wing to the left.
The south front is similar, featuring a chimney on the left side, three upper sash windows with glazing bars, and an Ionic porch roughly in the centre of the ground floor, supported by two piers and two columns in antis, along with an entablature.
