Description

Ballards House is a late 17th century or early 18th century building located on Keats Lane. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and has two storeys. The façade features four double-hung sash windows; the outer windows are three-light with mullions, and all windows are set in surrounds with wooden sills. There is a modern outshut on the left side of the ground floor. The entrance boasts an impressive wood door surround, likely imported, which includes a carved architrave frieze and cornice, consoles, and a central carved head. The building also has several dummy windows, a cornice, and an old tile hipped roof.
