Description
Nos 101 to 103 on Peascod Street are two to three-storey buildings with stock brick fronts, dating from around 1840 to 1850. No 101 is the taller of the two and is painted, featuring a moulded cornice and a parapet with flanking dies. It has two windows on the upper floors, while the ground floor includes a yard entry and a small shop front set within a common pilaster frame, with fluted consoles on either side of the fascia. Nos 102 and 103 have a front that is flanked by pilaster strips and features a band cornice that extends over the top, along with a parapet that has two shallow panels. These buildings also have two windows on the upper floors, but their shop front has been altered. They are included for their group interest, as they form a cohesive group with Nos 101 to 104.
