Description
The Lodge to Windsor Great Park is a mid-19th century building located in Old Windsor. It features painted stucco and low-pitched slate roofs behind parapets, designed in a Tudor style. The rectangular plan includes a tall turret on the southeast corner and a one-storey extension at the rear.
The building stands two storeys high, with mock Tudor chimneys made of Doulton ware. It has a high plinth and moulded strings above both floors, while the parapet is pierced with trefoils. The windows are casement style with glazing bars set in chamfered reveals and Tudor-arched heads; the first-floor windows also have hoodmoulds. The entrance front on the southeast side displays irregular fenestration, featuring an entrance door with a Tudor-arched head situated within the half-octagonal turret. There are canted bay windows on either side of the door at the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
