Description
Greenham Hall is a house, now divided, dating from the mid-19th century, likely incorporating parts of an earlier dwelling. It features coursed, squared red sandstone with Ham stone dressings, a moulded plinth, and a slate roof behind a crenellated parapet. The building is designed in the Tudor style, with shaped gables that have finials and stone stacks. The south and east sides have a rain block, while the earlier service wing is to the west and a stable wing is to the north.
The south front has two storeys over a basement and is composed of three bays. The left bay is gabled and has diagonal buttresses, projecting slightly forward. To the right, there is an octagonal three-stage staircase turret. The ground floor features a 10-light mullioned and transomed crenellated splayed bay window in the centre right, a 4-light window above to the left, and an 8-light mullioned and transomed window on the ground floor left, which has a 6-light corbelled oriel window above. All windows have Tudor arched heads. There is a doorway in the angle of the projecting bay on the left, which is approached by curved stairs with a stone parapet. An open loggia is located in the basement on the left.
