Description
The Old Craven Arms is a public house that has been converted into a private house. It dates from the mid-19th century and features a grey brick front with a header band, red rubbed arches, grey headers, and red stretchers at the sides. The building has a hipped slate roof with wide overhanging eaves and a square plan. It stands two storeys tall and has a rendered band at the first floor, which includes faded painted lettering. There are flanking chimneys with offset tops, three glazing bar sash windows, and a central half-glazed door that is situated under a slightly curved hood supported by cut brackets.
