Description
West Court House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring grey headers and red stretchers, and has tiled roofs. The building is designed in a double pile, L-plan layout and stands two storeys tall. The north block has flanking chimneys, while the south block has ridge chimneys. There is a flush grey brick band at the first floor and dentil brick eaves flanking the stacks of the north block, with ridge stacks on the south block.
On the north elevation, there are five vertical sliding sash windows with exposed box frames and rubbed brick arches. The central porch is square and features an entablature and blocking course, supported by wide panelled pilasters on either side of the doorway. The entrance has an eight-panelled door and a rectangular fanlight with diagonal glazing.
