Description
The Bricklayers Arms is an early 19th century public house that stands two storeys tall and features a double front with four windows. At the south end, there is a lower two-window extension that includes a carriageway. The main block has a hipped tile roof, while the south extension is topped with a slate roof. The building is constructed of multi-coloured stock brick and has plain stucco bands at the first floor level. The recessed sash windows, most of which have glazing bars, are adorned with gauged flat red brick arches. The extension features architraves on the first floor windows. The entrance is marked by an architraved doorway topped with a console-bracketted pediment.
