The building has a slate roof with a brick stack that includes three decorated flue shafts. The exterior is made of painted brick with ashlar dressings. A crenellated parapet rises above the inn sign plaque, and there is a first-floor sill string. The windows are two and three light mullioned types with arched heads and hood moulds.
