Description
The garden wall located south of the entrance to South Fawley Manor, which runs alongside Dog Kennel Lane, dates from the 19th century and has had some repairs made in the 20th century. It features a flint plinth and a brick wall with a top that is partly tiled and partly made of flint. The wall is approximately 59 metres long and 2 metres high. The elevation consists of about 36 metres of brickwork in Flemish garden wall bond on a flint plinth, capped with three courses of tiles on flint. The remaining approximately 27 metres of the wall is also in Flemish garden wall bond brickwork but sits on a rendered plinth with flint capping.
