Description

The dovecote and garage block, located approximately 30 metres north of Bucklebury House, dates from around 1700. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tile pyramidal roof. The dovecote is situated to the north and includes a gabled louvred dormer on the west side, as well as a central timber cupola topped with a tiled cap and weathervane. The structure consists of two square blocks, with the lower garage block positioned to the south. The dovecote has double boarded doors beneath segmental doors on the west side. Inside, the dovecote retains brick nesting boxes built into the walls.
