Description
Tomb Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with some partial refacing and additions made in the early 20th century on the south side. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings, a plinth, and lacing courses. It features an old tile roof that is half hipped on the left and has a gabled cross wing on the right, which reveals an exposed queen post truss. There is a large 17th-century stack at the rear right, a 20th-century stack in the center at the rear, and a 20th-century ridge stack above an off-centre door to the left. The farmhouse has two storeys, with three first-floor two-light leaded casements on the left and one three-light 20th-century leaded casement in the cross wing to the right. On the ground floor, there are three segmental-headed leaded cross windows to the left and a single three-light 20th-century leaded casement in the cross wing to the right. A 20th-century segmental-headed nine-panelled door is located between the first and second windows from the left.
