Description

UFTON NERVET SU 66 NW 3/15 Walled Garden And Terrace Approximately 20 Metres To South-west of Ufton Court (q.v.) G.V. II Walled garden and terrace. Circa 1700. Approximately 50 metres square and of varying height. Red brick with plain and angled brick copping. 13 steps to terrace in centre to north-east with curving stone coped parapet and rusticated brick piers with stone dressings and globe finials. 2 square gate piers to south-west with stone urn finials and wrought iron gate with overthrow. Terrace wall to north-west with 8 large buttresses.
