Description

This stable block, located 60 metres west of South Stanmore Farm House, dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick featuring grey headers and red stretchers, topped with a tiled roof. The building is a long structure running in a north/south direction, comprising one storey with a loft. The west elevation showcases three groups of two louvred window openings, which flank a boarded stable door that has a cambered head. At the right-hand end, there is a gabled dormer with a door leading to the loft. This stable block is included for its group value.
