Description

No. 1 Faulkner Square is an early 18th-century house located on the south side of Faulkner Square in Hungerford. It features a tiled roof with two gabled dormers and is constructed of brick, using red stretchers and grey headers, with a band at the first floor. The building stands two storeys high with an attic. On the ground floor, there is one glazing bar sash window to the left with an exposed box frame and a cambered head. To the right, there is a narrow glazing bar sash window above a half-glazed door, which is sheltered by a flat hood and has a rectangular fanlight above it. This house is continuous with No. 2 and is positioned at right angles to Nos. 4 and 5 Charnham Street.
