Description
23 Charnham Street is a terraced house from the early 18th century, which was altered in the early 19th century. It features an old tiled roof and a chimney on the left side. The exterior is constructed with brick that has grey headers and red stretchers, with dressings and vertical bands flanking the windows, and dentil eaves. The house has two storeys and an attic and is built as one with Nos. 21 and 22. There are two gabled dormers, each with two-light leaded casements. On the first floor, there are two three-light casements with cambered heads, and on the ground floor, there is one wide casement with glazing bars to the left. The central entrance has a boarded door beneath a flat hood supported by cut brackets. To the right, there is a canted oriel bay with glazing bars and a flat head.
