Description

Goldhill House is a house dating from the 17th century, with an 18th-century front and a 19th-century extension. The northwest wall is partially timber framed with brick infill, and part is made of brick and flint. The front of the main block is finished in painted stucco, while the right wing features flint with brick bands and dressings. The roof is covered with old tiles, and there are brick chimneys located on the right and centrally on the right wing. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys. There is a small gabled block situated between the main block and the hipped wing on the right. The main block has a three-light timber casement window to the left and a two-light casement window to the right. A six-panelled door is positioned between the windows and is topped with a flat moulded hood supported by cut brackets. The gabled wing has a three-light casement window above an angled bay, which features a vertical sliding sash with glazing bars. The right wing includes one vertical sliding sash window with glazing bars.
