Description

The Prancing Horse Public House is a public house dating from the late 16th century, with additions from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a timber frame that is rendered, along with a tile-hung gable and casement windows. The building has one framed bay and stands two storeys high with an attic. The rectangular bay has planted timbers that rise to the first floor, and all windows are casements. There is a boarded door located to the right. To the right, there is an 18th-century two-storey brick addition with a hipped tiled roof, which includes two stacks, a ground floor casement window, and a first-floor oriel window. To the left, there is a 19th-century one-storey addition that is rendered and has an old tile roof, with a stack on the left and a large 12-light casement window featuring a gable, barge boards, and a finial.
