Description

This is a house dating from the 16th to 17th centuries. It is timber-framed and now rendered, with a tiled roof that is half-hipped on the right side. A central ridge stack serves as a chimney, and there are two gabled dormers in the roof. The entrance has been altered to a lobby entrance type. The house is 1 1/2 storeys high and has two framed bays with a two-window front, featuring 20th-century casement windows. Inside, there is a large, old fireplace with a bread oven, and a staircase is located behind the stack on the south side. This building holds group value as a well-preserved example of an early timber-framed house.
